Kabali ...Ka..ba...li.
Everyone repeats it. Ka..ba..li.. we are in the verge of shouting 'OKKK..!! enough..!! what is next ?'
what he will do ? - No answer.
Neruppuda....I thought Rajini was that 'fire'. Now after watching the movie, I could understand that poor old Rajini thatha is shivering with old age and looking for some fire to get some body heat. ;-)
If Rajini decided to play a family movie, then 'why ' such bombastic build ups ? Neruppuda...paruppuda..Could have avoided such hype and said in ad ' . Its like 6 to 60 movie (aarilirundhu arupathu varai). Don't expect this old thaathaa to fight. But they hyped too much....and we always searching for some nerupppu....but
No neruppu. Only smoke.
My neighbour seat guy, who looks like an ardent Rajini fan.
Always shouting near to my ear 'Neruppudaa...!!!'
Started whistling loudly near to my ear drum, making me think that a mosquito got into my ear , after every whistle. Just 4 times, he could whistle and looking anxiously for the next chance to whistle....pity guy didn't get another chance.
Before the interval, I heard him snoring. Neruppudaa...!
Some villains, coming and going. With different names and we couldn't understand who is who....That Malaysian villain has been given too much hype . Good for nothing fellow. Without getting money, just for free lunch he acted it seems.
One more thing, everyone is calling Kabali a Don...don...where he performed as a Don ?
Simply like DD channel drama, people would say by mouth 'Both met in london' and came home. 'Both flights clashed with each other' . Nothing would be shown..but would make us visualize. Similar one happened with kabali too.
Director decided to 'tell' all High budget scenes via dialogues it seems.
Everyone is saying 'Don...' 'Don..' but we see only 'torn' down old thalaivar. why he has been called 'Don' ?
Only the villain gang says 'we can't do business without removing kabali '...( copied from Antony Vs Basha ). But we are seeing only old poor wife searching Rajini. Don't know how he could be a disturbance to a drug mafia.?? No justification scene on that.
But like Radio drama, everyone repeatedly says he is a 'Don'. But not even a single scene shows he is a don. Only one scene , that too he only speaks furiously for salary hike.
If you call him Don, for shouting for salary hike...then I am also Don. My house maid should be the biggest Don.
Why Radhika Apte ? The great performer for such a vacuum movie. The entire story revolves around her. But she came for 4 to 5 scenes. That's it.
Rajini repeatedly says 'That girl , I feel like my daughter...' thats it. No more reasoning for it.
So....
If someone says 'I don't like this movie yaaar...' about your favourite movie, immediately you will feel unfriendliness with him/her.
Same with books and sports too.
But if someone share the same thought about a girl, 'I like this beauty machi' , whom you like too, you won't enjoy it.
Other than your ' pair matter', all other things you would expect your friend to have a similar taste.
After seeing the movie, when I said 'It won't run da...', my friend who is a devotee of Rajini got angry. He started shouting at me 'Why..? what is less in this movie ?...You tasteless creature....blah..blah...' !!! ;-)
If you want to make someone as your friend, 'mirroring' technique is the best one. Till date marketing guys used to do that for successful marketing. Mirroring/Copying your body language, would subconsciously make you attracted towards them.
So don't say 'This is a Flap movie to Rajini fans'.
Producer Dhaanu has decided like this it seems ....40 Crore for Rajini, 3 crore for other castings, Kolalampur 2 streets, 2 buildings totally some 4 malaysian location cost. And finally for marketing and hype 50 crore.
Producer has told to the director like this it seems.... 'Give any shit' I can Market it like a 'golden shit'.
Some scenes Rajini looked like a pity old guy. Good for nothing look.
Then and there giving some stylish heroic look and mannerism, making us to think , thalaivar is going to blast someone.....but .... doing nothing . Similar to his real life's election time political speech. Always Crying wolf..wolf...!!
Even Rajini fans couldn't whistle at more places. Another guy near to me, is always keeping his hands as if he is going to tap chappaathi flour, with open mouth, watching the screen anxiously to clap.
But...
Nothing happening ...so he decided just to clap and suddenly got insulted by many leering looks from all directions.
Ranjith has spoiled Rajini's market and Dhaanu's money, both .
No comedy, no thrilling action, nothing.
